The latest album Embrace Eternity, what does this title mean to you personally?
I think this album come out very variate, all the songs are so different and the lyrics touch so many different themes. For me personally, this title has a deep meaning. I believe that our music can touch people hearts and I am inviting everyone to listen to it, to find something in it and to embrace it.
You guys recently released a music video for “Sweet, Sweet Lies” – talk about the song lyrically and musically.
Yes, this song is heavy and powerful. I get chills every time I sing it live. It is about the lie around us that we have to tolerate, about all the fake things that become so important to us. This song is actually a question for everyone of us " Is that what you want?" Or maybe you want something better for your life and your future.
For anyone who doesn’t know Infected Rain, how would you describe the band’s music?
We play what we like and what makes us happy. Our music is sincere and true. We do that because we have something to say, so now you have to decide if you want to listen to it.
You have a very unique style, how would you describe your overall style?
I like to create, so my style is nothing else that the fruit of my imagination. Colors make me happy and comfort is very important, that's it.
What are some of your favorite clothes to wear onstage while performing?
I don't think I have favorites. I like everything leggings, tops, tank shirts, everything that is comfortable and looks good.
What was the first band shirt you ever bought? (How old were you, what did this band mean to you?)
It was a Nirvana T shirt, I was 14-years-old. I was a big fan.
With a name like Barmetal, it's obligatory to talk booze. Do you have a favorite alcoholic drink? If so what is it? What is it about this drink that you like?
I am not a big drinker but I do like to drink some wine for my pleasure sometimes. When I party I preferably chose Jagermeister, it has a pleasant herbal taste and I prefer to sip it with a little bit of orange and cinnamon.
Do you have a particular bar in your home country or anywhere else that you enjoy to go to?
Not really, I go wherever my friends are going, for me the company is most important.
